Saint George is the patron saint of several countries, including England, Portugal, and Georgia, and is widely celebrated in Brazil, particularly on April 23rd, his feast day. In Brazil, he is often associated with Ogum, a warrior deity in Afro-Brazilian religions, making him a powerful figure in both Catholic and Candomblé traditions.

His story has inspired knights, warriors, and believers worldwide, and his image—often depicted as a mounted knight slaying a dragon—remains a symbol of courage and protection.
